We met the good old-fashioned way, at a bar...just kidding. Danielle was friend's with Josiah's older brother's friend and was invited over for a basketball game. He introduced himself and she said "we've met" deadpan face. Fast forward to that evening and they exchanged phone numbers and then two months later she moved away to Michigan for a year. It took some convincing to make her move back but on September 12th, they decided to "give it a shot" in Josiah's words.

Josiah proposed on December 26th, where Griffin made it about himself (of course). After Danielle went into the river after her first love and was subsequently rescued from said river, she sat on a rock to finish reading the letter Josiah wrote her which ended with the question "will you marry me?" The rest is history.
